Noah’s Days Have Come: How Can We Find God’s Footsteps?

the era of Noah

Let’s recall the era of Noah. At that time, murder and arson, robbing and stealing, and promiscuity had become second nature to people. They departed from God and did not heed God’s words. Even though they heard Noah telling them that God was going to destroy the evil mankind, no one entered the ark. In the end, God destroyed the world with a flood, and only Noah’s family of eight obeyed God’s words and survived.

Now we are already in the last days. Mankind has become more and more corrupt. They all worship evil, detest the truth, love injustice, and live in sin. Obviously, Noah’s days have already come! Just as the Lord Jesus prophesied, “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.” (Luke 17:26). The Lord has returned and carried out a stage of work of cleansing and saving people on the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ redemptive work. So how can we find God’s footsteps and welcome the Lord?

The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). God says, “Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’ And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!

God’s sheep are able to listen to God’s voice. Only by focusing on listening to God’s voice and looking for God’s appearance can we welcome the Lord’s return. Therefore, when we hear someone testify that the Lord has come back to speak words and do new work, we should proactively seek and investigate, and see whether these words are God’s voice. If we recognize God’s voice and then accept and follow Him, we will be able to welcome the Lord, go to the banquet with Him, and be protected by God in disasters. On the contrary, when hearing the news of the Lord’s coming, if we refuse to seek and investigate it but still follow the trend of the world and live lives of eating, drinking and merry-making, then how are we any different from the people of Noah’s days? Once we miss the salvation of God during His work, when His work is over, we will be abandoned by the Lord and fall into disasters.
