The Lord Jesus said, “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb 12:14), “Be you holy; for I am holy” (1Pe 1:16)
Many Christians believe the kingdom of heaven is in heaven, but the Lord’s Prayer says, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). And the Book of Revelation also says, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ” (Revelation 11:15). So, is the kingdom of heaven in heaven or on earth?
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22–23).
Today many Christians are living in sin and can’t extricate themselves from it. So can people like them really enter into the kingdom of heaven?
Now disasters are becoming more and more serious. Only if we truly repent to God can we gain God’s guidance during disasters so that we can have a way forward and be raptured into the heavenly kingdom.
